Our story, spans a few generations and seven seas apart to a different continent!

Founded by Jolly Gandhi, the Source- Earth story actually started with her grandmother. The original formula for Source-Earth Hemorrhoids Relief was crafted with love and care by Jolly’s grandma in India around 1966. Throughout her five pregnancies, she suffered a great deal of pain due to hemorrhoids. But even doctor in her own family, could not help her get the long-term real relief from bleeding and discomfort. The topical creams her doctor prescribed, only went as far as the creams could go, just topical! You see, the hemorrhoids / piles are symptoms of a problem from Inside-Out, not outside-in.

 Looking for a real relief solution, grandma turned to the many Ayurveda practitioners in her area, hoping that the ancient medicinal-healing system would provide answers where modern medicine had fallen short. She consulted with them for a pointer towards plant medicines she can find locally.  After years of trial and error, she finally reached at the right formula combining powerful ingredients that helped eliminating that pain, inflammation, and bleeding. In the many years since, her formula has been used by men and women in her family as well as friends and neighbors who have continued to request the original formula whenever the hemorrhoids flare-ups occur.

 Fast forward, early 2000’s in the United States, after one of her pregnancies, Jolly began experiencing severe pain during bathroom visits. One time to the point of passing out on her bathroom floor. However, Jolly's doctors could not help figure out what was the cause of this excruciating pain. After talking to her mother, she began to look into her family’s generations-old relief powder and sourcing the ingredients to make her grandma's remedy at home.

Jolly's research on the ingredients, made it very apparent to her that unlike modern medicine, this formula is correcting issues at the root cause, instead of  merely suppressing the symptoms.

She also learnt from her journey of pain and relief cycles, that once you have damaged the delicate anal veins and tissues that become hemorrhoids, you will always have to manage them by keeping the inflammation in check. It is like a wound that may get torn or inflamed due to constipation, straining or any other pressure on it.

Seeing firsthand, the soothing effect of this powder, she began to experiment with the recipe to be used such, that kept chronic constipation and hemorrhoids flare-ups at bay. By perfecting the recipe to be used as a daily supplement.Using powerful and gentler plant medicines to create a remedy that had holistic healing for an overall well being. We welcome you to research all the ingredients in our formula. Most of them are very commonly found in many kitchens, yet their multiple and powerful healing properties, aid to bring much needed relief with painful Hemorrhoids and keeps you regular on a daily.

In 2019, Jolly set out to share this Ayurveda remedy with the world. Best quality and if possible, organic ingredients are sourced from the foothills of Himalayas in Nepal, India and organic farms of France.
