Our story spans four generations and seven seas, from a small home in India to the United States — and it began not in a lab, but in a kitchen.
Source Earth was founded by Jolly Gandhi, but the original formula was crafted decades earlier by her grandmother, Nanna Jaya. In the 1960s, after suffering through five pregnancies and the painful hemorrhoid flare-ups that came with them, Nanna Jaya found that modern medicine could only offer topical creams — relief that went no deeper than the surface.

Determined to find real relief, Nanna Jaya turned to the Ayurvedic practitioners in her community. Jolly's Journey
In the early 2000s, after one of her own pregnancies in the United States, Jolly began experiencing severe pain during bathroom visits — at one point so intense she passed out on her bathroom floor. Her doctors were unable to identify the cause.
It was her mother who pointed her back to Nanna Jaya's generations-old remedy. As Jolly researched each ingredient, something became clear: unlike modern medicine, this formula was correcting the problem at its root — not merely suppressing symptoms.
She also came to understand that once the delicate veins and tissues become hemorrhoids, they require ongoing management — keeping inflammation in check, maintaining regularity, and supporting the body gently every day. This insight shaped everything about how Source Earth was formulated.

In 2019, Jolly set out to share Nanna Jaya's Ayurvedic remedy with the world.
